What the app stores
Tempera stores your treatments, schedules, doses you mark as taken or skipped, your notes, and your app settings. All of it is saved locally on your iPhone.
No account, no server
There is no account and no sign-in. Tempera has no app server, and the app doesn’t send your treatment records to us or anyone else.
No tracking or third parties
The app uses no analytics, advertising, crash-reporting services or third-party SDKs. It doesn’t track you across apps or websites.
Apple Health
Tempera doesn’t access Apple Health data.
Reminders
Reminders are local iOS notifications. They are created and delivered on your iPhone, not sent from a server. You can hide treatment names in reminders inside Tempera, and turn notifications off at any time in iOS Settings.
Syncing and backups
Tempera doesn’t sync between devices. Whether its data is included in your iPhone or iCloud backups depends on your iOS backup settings. Apple’s privacy policy applies to those backups.
Exporting your data
In Settings → Your data, choose Download a copy to export every reminder and dose record as one JSON file. It opens the iOS share sheet, so you choose where the file goes.
Deleting your data
Delete all personal data, in Settings → Your data, removes your records from your iPhone and cancels scheduled reminders. Deleting the app also removes the data it stored on your iPhone.
Who Tempera is for
Tempera is meant for adults managing their own treatment. It isn’t directed at children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If a future feature changes how data is handled, this policy will be updated before that feature ships. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
This website and email
The statements above describe the iPhone app only. This website and our email provider are separate services and handle data under their own terms. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
